Who We Are
Dancefusion Inc. is a nonprofit entity that is made up of three divisions; Dancefusion, our professional company, fusion2 our junior company, and the Gwendolyn Bye Dance Center school. As a unit, we strive to provide a high-quality, inclusive, and nurturing environment for professional training that teaches life-long skills.
Dancefusion’s mission is to reconstruct historical works through its transformative choreography taught in dance training programs at GBDC and fusion2.
Gwendolyn Bye Dance Center offers year-round classes for children and adults, providing comprehensive training in performing arts. Founder and Director, Gwendolyn Bye, has dedicated herself to the education and preservation of dance as a performing art through GBDC since 1985.
fusion2 draws a diverse group of talent from across the Philadelphia area. This junior company is comprised of dancers looking to study classical and contemporary techniques, performing choreography in several disciplines including ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and hip-hop.
Dancefusion is a nonprofit organization 501(c)3. It is governed by a Board of Directors.
